This video was posted back in August,2009, but I just came across it. In light of what is brewing here in Oregon (which I will discuss more in a separate post), it makes me wish we had a representative who would stand up for homebirth and mothers' rights like Mr. Andrew Laming does here.

Good for him standing up and being counted. Boo to Australia's govnt. for trying to slip this into the bill.... naughty and STUPID! We need more midwives, not less!!!
